The six a.k.a. rip off from bionicle.
In legends they have always figured largely. Six heroes with control of the 6 elements coming to lead the people. But the six never had consistent powers or equipment. Maybe there were many such groups of 6? What if there were more than 6? Some legends speak of powerful 7th members of the group... which disappeared mysteriously. And in every legend, somehow the enemy could not resist these six. But the heros alway proceeded with caution, fearing the enemy to be the 8th. Who is the 8th? the most powerful misguided ally, or the one who can utterly destroy all the six in one fell blow?
The six elements are as follow, the 3 energy elements and the 3 mixed elements: Fire, Earth, Ice, Rock[fire+ice], Air[earth+fire], Water[ice+earth]. Partner elements are the main energy of the mixed element and the mixed element, eg. fire.rock. Opposing elements are the energy element with the mixed element without that energy. eg. ice/air
The 7th element, if it ever existed, bears most similarity to the chinese concept of 'yang' : creation, affirming, building up.
The original 6:
Triangle shaped amulets which grant leaders the power of each element. The only set which the 6 units can link together like jigsaw to form one powerful amulet with the ability to control all elements. status:lost
The guardian 6 or 7 or 8:
Suits of armor with a matching over-clock which grants leaders unsupassed protection, and create an outward shield of their element. Rumoured to grant immortality upon death by binding soul of leader to armor, after which armor cannot be removed as body degrades. Status: after 4 lifetimes, the 6 left, leaving no trail behind. There have been rumors of 8 of them existing, but quickly dropped to seven after a person in black armor and black cloak claimed to have eternal power as the 8th before jumping to his apparent death.
The stealthy 6:
Radical departure for the 6 elements. The first set to give each leader different equipment. An arm unit which snaps onto the leaders left forearm seems to be the main focus of the power. Full suit of black with some chain mail stitched on, and helmet and clock for all leaders which grants them power as follows:
Fire leader: Infra-red vision
Earth leader: passive sonar
Ice leader: Improved grip and ice darts
Rock leader: silent cutting tools
Air leader: Eavesdropping on frequencies and sound matching
Water leader : visual and audio and data recorder
Status: Hidden away before fall of city
The 'reversed' 6:
Radical in the sense that elemental powers opposing of the leader's element were given. The first to make the different leader's equipment to look different. Also the first to introduce the 3 level system. A glove made of black metal plates and chain mail from the wrist up to the elbow. At the elbow the chain mail is stitched to the shortened end of a light jacket.
For all: level 1: the element control [only], level 2: opposing element control[only], level 3: 1+2+limit break,elemental storm
Fire: red jacket, Earth: green jacket, Ice: white jacket, Rock: brown jacket, Air: yellow jacket, Water: blue jacket. Status: Uncertain. the chosen leaders refused to use the jackets.
The lightning 6:
The First to introduce differing equipment per level. What unites the levels and the six sets is the ability to throw lightning and generate a electric shield. Elemental control has also been focused on enhancing offensive physical attacks. However level 2 skills are 'tiring' and takes a while to charge.

The second last work of the creators of these equipment. By far the most complex.The partner elements shared the same equipment, but the rest did not. The only thing that unites all the sets and levels are that they have gauntlet for both hands which the power is focused from.Fire: Level 1: One sided Long sword[katana]= burning sword attack
Level 2: 1+ one pair of kodachi= shield of fire
Level 3: 2+ device that allows all 3 swords to join to form one 1-or-2-sided 2-handed sword. The side number depends on the position of the long sword.
Earth: Level 1: A pair of butterfly knives and a side-opening switchblade=ranged 'destroy' attack
Level 2: 1+ one pair of kodachi with complementary jagged back edge= able to gain 'destroy' charge that 'destroys' all that comes into contact with it
Level 3: 2+ device that allows kodachi to be mounted on the right forearm while storing all the knifes.
Ice: Level 1: Double sided axe= frost axe attack
Level 2: 1+ one pair of kodachi= shield of ice
Level 3: 2+ base that allows all swords and axe to join to form a shield with sharp edges.

Rock: black ring with purple stone= craft weapons out of stone
Air: black ring with yellow stone= gust attack
Water: black ring with blue stone= water shield
status: uncertain. The rings were sent with the master 6. An envoy returned to tell that the master 6 were safely received, but said that she did not see any rings.

differences
"what? you have replaced my brother with a newbie with the name of Givadan!" Quesindo practically shouted.
"Yes I have, are you challenging my authority?"
"but Razako! This Gi-something's new! he has no idea of what we are! does he even know what the plans are?"
"he will learn, much faster than you."
Quesindo stormed out of the throne room, his black cloak, trimmed with silver, bellowing behind him. What could he do? Ignore his orders to send the stores of metal up, and risk losing his position? he was already furious that not all of his family was being picked to lead the segregates, and now the re-vi segregate was out of his reach. At least the so-re segregate was still under him, and he was certain he could bully for an alliance with the vi-lo segregate.
A smile of greed crossed his face, lengthing his alrdy thin features. he watched his reflections in the metal walls detailing the first 4 kings of atlantis, the colour of his white teeth nearly matching his pale complexion: maybe someday the segregates will all respond at his beck and call...
how handsome he will be leading his subjects to greatness , with his light brown slit-like eye, thin roman nose, and light blond hair.......
reloril smiled and bowed.
"Razako, thank you; with life, the area of the vi-lo segregate's, will be filled."
"Loril, you almost make this daunting task seem like fun! I hope it will, I want the people on satil as soon as possible, and the trees that renew their oxygen supply must be up by then."
"well, a pleasure, to move those wonderful trees it will be."
"o yes, givadan has arrived."
"ah, complete things are!"
Reloril walked out of the throne room with a slight bounce in her step, lifting her gold-trimmed cloak off the ground with every step. the green colour of the cloak matched her red hair perfectly. She wondered at this new development. Mostly how it will affect the most important person in her life, Kazoco.
Kazoco, remembering his appointment with the King, looked into his wan-liva.
"Yes Razako, i will send up crystals, all of high quality."
"Wonderful! Hope your research goes well."
"Alright then"
"Ah yes, Givadan has arrived."
"Have you informed Quesin?" Kazo replied in a strained voice.
"Yes...."
"thank you then."
Kazo broke his conversation with the King and moved his thoughts around the area. Quickly finding Quesin, Kazoco was deeply disturbed by the look on his face. Getting up, he hurried out of his apartment, heading towards the lab. The earlier he finishes detailing the chemical structure wan-cora, the better.

Givadan paced nervously around the circular room, wondering what skill could have have made those intricate symbols on the metal walls. Fingering his new cloak and tunic (he was not used to wearing so much), he was startled when the wall infront of him swung opened. Doors in this city blended well with the walls.
Behind the door was the smiling woman who brought him to this strange city, dressed in a similar fashion. To most others in his tribe lozari cut a weird figure, always appearing out of nowhere and disappearing in the blink of an eye. But to Givadan she was special. he felt an aura of strength and agility that surrounded her. Lozari appeared surprised to find out what he felt about her, and then disappeared for many lunar cycles. Givadan was so glad she returned. More-so, when she invited him to travel with her.
He had thought the legends of atlantis were stories brought to life by her vivid imagination; but here he was, in that city.
"our leader will like to see you now Giva"
"thank you Zari..." Givadan stammered, unused to the city's tongue. "what do i tell him?"
"the truth"
" what will he do to me?"
"nothing damaging"
"what shall..."
"enough questions! He is a kind man of noble intentions; You only have to fear him if you lie" Lozari teased. She knew how hard it was for Givadan to lie. she gave him a gentle nudge, pushing givadan into the room.
despite its name, the throne room was more like a work-station. beside a desk sat the leader of atlantis, the great-grandson of the king who swore to lead his people off this planet. he sighed seeing givadan enter the room. "I am Razako, 7th king of atlantis. it is a pleasure to meet you"
Givadan stood in awe. The voice was filled with wisdom, and the eyes seemed to see most of givadan's past, but Razako seemed to be as young as he was. However, givadan could not concentrate on the king, as a crystal cube on the leader's desk was distracting him. The cube, balanced on its edge, seem to glow with an intense yet beautiful white light, matched in hue only by the king's robes.
"i see you are interested in this wan-liva curious one"the voice boomed.
"it is an item of magic, allowing me to see many thing. indeed, you may one day make your own. I shall make you a citizen of atlantis. I thank you for coming to see me. "
"the pleasure is mine, great one" was all that Givadan could mumble, as he stumbled out of the throne room, aidded by an overjoyed Lozari.
Razako sat back into his throne,exhausted. The satil was undergoing final checks. Its orbit had been mapped: to stay a constant distance away from the solar system. The three segregates had their leaders. His Inter-Segregate Alliance was ready. At last, his great-grandfather's plan was bearing fruit: for better or for worse. Looking into his wan-liva, he saw abit of givadan's potential: as one of the greatest leaders atlantians have ever seen.......

prologue
this is a work of fiction: but the emotions are true. the technology may not exist: but may exist in the future. the questions that faces the characters in this story are faced by us or will be faced by our descendants.

If we could see the earth now, the planet right in the middle of the forbidden zone, we would not have much to see. Primitive culture, the beginning of a civilisation, is boring even if its your own. But in the ocean, a thriving and advanced civilisation is being prepared. The only hint of the epic that was to begin: the leader of this people, recording in his diary, as a shark swam past his window into the atlantic.
this earth sickens me. i have seen its future and its terror. i swear upon my kingship that i shall leave this planet with my people. i have begin making plans, we shall make our own satellite, one that is self sustaining. with our wan-cora i am sure this satellite will forever be a place where my people can live in peace. Our technology will then advance faster then any other on earth, then we shall return and set things right.
